Important decisions require sufficient time because they affect you in the long run. Choosing an imaging center for a diagnostic imaging scan is crucial to make sure you get the best care possible. You need to choose the imaging center where you will have a CT scan, ultrasound, MRI, or digital x-ray done in a professional way. The freedom to choose a center is great; however, having multiple choices to choose from is new to our area. Remember, it is your choice and you should make an educated one.

ANKUR B. PATEL, MD
OWNER & MUSCULOSKELETAL RADIOLOGIST
Dr. Ankur Patel is a board-certified, fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologist from the University of Chicago and the owner of Compass Peak Imaging. With nearly a decade of experience interpreting studies for elite athletes and leading outpatient imaging teams, at CPI he is dedicated to deliver high-quality care with none of the hospital hassle.
At CPI, Dr. Patel leads a team focused on fast reads, meaningful relationships, and a culture where patients feel seen, not just scanned. He collaborates closely with referring providers to ensure every study adds clarity and confidence to clinical decisions. He also serves on charitable boards and contributes to broader community health efforts.
Outside the reading room, Dr. Patel enjoys life with his wife, three young sons, and their two dogs. He’s an avid traveler, experience-seeker, and believer that the best care, like the best hospitality starts with intentional human connection.

PRAVEEN PATEL, MHA
MANAGING PARTNER
Praveen Patel, MHA, is the Managing Partner at Compass Peak Imaging. With over 10 years in healthcare leadership across top hospitals and outpatient centers, she’s known for turning complex systems into calm, human-centered operations. At CPI, Praveen’s focus is simple: make great care feel effortless for patients, providers, and staff alike. Her leadership blends clarity, accountability, and collaboration, with a knack for bringing people together to get things done.
Outside of work, she’s actively involved in several nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving healthcare and community well-being, and she’s an avid traveler who loves seeking experiences around the world.

JOSEPH GHITIS, MD
NEURORADIOLOGIST
Dr. Ghitis is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neuroradiologist with a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) and over fifteen years of experience across hospital and outpatient settings. He brings subspecialty expertise in brain, head, neck and spine imaging to Compass Peak Imaging, where his fast, insight-driven interpretations help providers act with precision and help patients feel supported during uncertain moments.
Known for his accuracy and deep focus, Dr. Ghitis is also active in expert-witness work and continues to stay sharp through lifelong learning.
Outside of work, he enjoys life with his wife, four kids, two dogs, and three cats. He stays active with fitness, pickleball, and a good book, always keeping pace with his curiosity.

BENJAMIN PARK, DO
DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGIST
Dr. Benjamin Park is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with over seven years of experience across hospital and outpatient settings in Colorado. After serving as MRI Section Chief at Evans Army Community Hospital, he built a reputation for quality, precision, and calm leadership in high-quality imaging environments.
At Compass Peak Imaging, Dr. Park plays a key role in upholding our quality-first culture. He’s trusted for his collaboration, thoroughness, and commitment to keeping imaging smooth for both patients and providers.
Away from work, he spends his time exploring Colorado with his two kids, enjoying nature, balance, and perspective in the mountains.
