All will concede that in order to have good neighbors, we must also be good neighbors. That applies in every field of human endeavor. – Harry S. Truman

OUR IMAGING SERVICES

We are excited to bring high-quality, community-first, patient-centric medical imaging to the patients of Colorado’s Western Slope.

Computerized Tomography (CT)

CT or Computerized Tomography is an advanced form of imaging that utilizes controlled amounts of directed radiation to produce high definition images. These images lead your care provider to an accurate diagnosis. Our facility uses the latest generation scanner from the world’s largest medical imaging company to ensure the most accurate results possible. Your provider may order a CT exam with intravenous contrast. In this event some minor preparation such as a short period of time without food may be required. Depending on patient age, some lab work may also be done prior to your exam. In most cases patients can remain in street clothes for CT exams. Typical CT exams only require ten to twenty minutes to complete. Immediately upon completion, your exam will be digitally sent to our onsite radiologist for reading. Your provider will receive a report without delay.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

MRI or Magnetic Resonance Imaging is an advanced form of medical imaging that utilizes a powerful magnetic field combined with radio frequencies to produce high definition images. These images lead your provider to an accurate diagnosis. Our facility uses the latest generation MRI scanner from the world’s largest medical imaging company to ensure the most accurate results possible. Your provider may order an MRI with intravenous contrast. In this event, some minor preparation such as lab work may be required depending upon patient age. Since MRI involves strong magnetic fields, patients will be asked to change into provided metal-free attire. An MRI exam typically requires twenty to forty minutes. Our open and bright exam suite and the modern design of our MRI machine provides a more comfortable experience. Immediately upon completion, your exam will be digitally sent to our onsite radiologist for reading. A report will be delivered to your provider without delay.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is an advanced form of imaging that utilizes sound waves to produce images. The strength of ultrasound is the fact that it can be directed at specific organs or areas of concern and utilizes only sound waves to produce images. Our facility uses the latest generation ultrasound unit from the world’s largest medical imaging company to ensure the most accurate results. Some ultrasound exams may require a short period of time without food or possibly increased fluid intake prior to exam. While ultrasound is most known for pregnancy exams it is used throughout the body for diagnosis. In most cases patients can remain in street clothes for ultrasound exams. A typical ultrasound exam may require twenty to thirty minutes of exam time. Immediately upon completion your exam will be digitally sent to our onsite radiologist for reading and a report will be delivered to your provider without delay.

X-Ray

X-Ray was the first form of medical imaging used prolifically. It remains an important tool for diagnostic use. X-rays are directed at specific parts of the body and an image is projected as these X-rays pass through. Our facility uses the latest generation fully digital X-ray unit produced by the worlds largest medical imaging company to ensure the most accurate results. Patient preparation is not usually required and most exams can be done in street clothes. Most X-ray exams only require a few minutes of time to complete. Immediately upon completion your exam will be digitally sent to our onsite radiologist for reading and a report will be delivered to your provider without delay.
