Should that not be the case, you may call to schedule your exam anytime after we have received your provider’s order.
HOW TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT?
Rescheduling an exam is simple and quick. Call us at 970.930.3818 and we will work to meet your personal schedule.
HOW DO I GET ANSWERS REGARDING MY EXAM?
Compass Peak Imaging can be reached at 970.930.3818 or you may find your answers on our website Compasspeakimaging.com. We are always happy to address any questions you may have beforehand in a effort to make your visit as pleasant as possible.
WHEN WILL MY RESULTS BE AVAILABLE?
Our goal is to provide your care team with results as soon as possible. Your provider will receive results within 24 hours of completion of your exam. Quite often your results will be available on the day of your procedure.
HOW LONG WILL MY EXAM TAKE?
We have selected all our imaging equipment with the goal of providing fast and accurate results. Most exams will only take a few minutes once you are positioned on the exam table. Average X-ray and CT exams will take approximately five to fifteen minutes while MRI and Ultrasound exams will usually range from twenty to thirty minutes.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING AN EXAM?
While we offer multiple forms of imaging, most experiences are similar. You will be positioned on an exam table in a comfortable manner and instructed to remain as motionless as possible for the duration of your exam. A comfortable patient leads to an accurate exam, so comfort will be key. For exams requiring contrast, trained staff will start a small IV.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR AN EXAM?
Some exams will require minor preparation. You will be notified of any preparation requirements when your exam is scheduled. Compass Peak Imaging can email preparation instruction, if desired. Preparation instructions will also be posted on our website (coming soon).
Some exams may require diet modification for a few hours prior to your arrival.
Exams including contrast may also require minor lab work prior to your arrival, but most can be performed by Compass Peak Imaging once you arrive.
Feel free to call us at 970-665-2194 with any questions you may have about your exam preparation.
